What to Expect on the Day of Your NHS CTF Interview

Overview: NHS interviews follow a structured, panel-based format. Here’s what typically happens (but bear in mind the interview may be remote):

Arrival:

• Greeted by admin or HR

• Wait in a holding room with other candidates

The Interview:

• Panel of 2–4 (consultants, educators)

• 5–8 structured questions

• Optional teaching presentation

After the Interview:

• Some trusts offer a tour or informal chat

• You may hear back same day or within 48 hours
